League OneCarlisle United have signed midfielder Liam Noble on a free transfer from Sunderland. The 20-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half year deal at Brunton Park, having scored eight goals in 50 games during two loan spells.
He leaves the Stadium of Light without making a first-team appearance.
