Sunderland boss David Moyes is looking to reunite with Steven Naismith.
The Daily Star is reporting that the Black Cats are planning an £8million bid for the Norwich City forward.
Naismith was signed by Moyes at Everton from Rangers back in 2012 and it is understood that the new Sunderland manager is keen to work with his fellow Scotsman once again.
Moyes is eager to strengthen his attack ahead of the new Premier League season and is hoping he can secure 29-year-old Naismith who scored in Norwich's crushing 4-1 win over Blackburn Rovers in the Championship opener on the weekend.
