Sunderland plan to trump Hull for Man Utd's Campbell

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is planning to trump Hull City for Manchester United striker Fraizer Campbell.

The Daily Mail says Manchester United have already accepted Hull's £6m bid for the striker, who scored 15 goals for the Tigers while on loan during their promotion season.

Campbell, on England duty in Sweden for the European Under-21 Championships, insisted yesterday that he did not want to make a decision on his future until the tournament was over.

Bruce tried to lure the 21-year-old to Wigan on loan last summer but lost out to Tottenham.
