Dick Advocaat is planning a move for out-of-favour Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel.


Van Ginkel has been blighted with injuries since joining Chelsea in 2013 and spent last season on loan in Italy with AC Milan.

Van Ginkel told Dutch publication Voetbal International that he understood he may have to continue making loan moves away from Stamford Bridge to continue his development.

The 22-year-old explained: "For my development it is crucial to get a full year of football. The chances that this can happen are already small at Chelsea."

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is keen on van Ginkel receiving crucial Premier League experience after his year in Italy.
