Sunderland aren't giving up on Liverpool striker Fabio Borini.

The Evening Chronicle says Sunderland have not given up hope of signing Borini - despite his agent insisting the Italian wants to stay at Liverpool.

But Sunderland will have to fork out more than £10m if they are to prise the striker away from Anfield.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers, for the moment, sees Borini as part of his plans for next season.
