Sunderland midfielder Liam Bridcutt is confident he can handle the pressure of facing Manchester City this week.
Sunderland must bounce back after defeat at home to Hull City.
Bridcutt said: "On Wednesday night I will be playing against some of the world's best players and it's a challenge I am looking forward to.
"If we stick to the basics, marking and defending in the way we know we can, we could get a good result there. We are not going to lie down and take it. We are going to come out fighting."
