Sunderland are closing on Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk.
The Daily Mail says Sunderland scouts watched Van Dijk at Kilmarnock on Monday night.
Manager Gus Poyet has lined up an £8million move for the Holland Under 21 international who has also attracted interest from Everton.
Van Dijk has been an ever present for the Bhoys so far this season, scoring six goals in 32 appearances.
