Wolves have completed the loan signing of Sunderland goalkeeper Darren Ward. The 34-year-old has signed until the end of the season and Wolves boss Mick McCarthy told the Express and Star: "We need a third keeper, because we can't depend on the fact that Carl is going to be involved as he is not back in training.

"Darren is a good experienced keeper and if we had one struck down with injury or illness, we would have problems."
