Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet knows he still has plenty to learn, despite an outstanding debut season in the Premier League.
While Mignolet feels he's done well, he says he still has plenty of learning to do before being considered amongst the game's elite.
"It's been a good season for me personally," Mignolet told safc.com.
"I've gained a lot of experience, which is very important given the position I play.
"As a goalkeeper experience is the main thing, together with confidence.
"But it is too early for me to speak about being a top goalkeeper in the Premier League. There is still much for me to learn.
"I still have progress to make, although I am happy with my first season. I will move on and try to improve as much as I can."
He added: "The difference between playing with a local club in the Belgian league and a top club in the Premier League is huge.
"The Premier League is very physical, and everything is faster.
"I'm happy so far. I still have to progress more and I think I can do that."
