Sunderland will reportedly make a January move for Millwall midfielder Liam Trotter.
The promising 22-year old has been in hot form this season for the Lions, scoring three times in seven appearances, and has come under the radar of Black Cats boss Steve Bruce who has sent scouts to watch him on a number of occasions.
Trotter permanently signed with Millwall in June after two loan spells and has become first choice under Kenny Jackett.
