Sunderland fullback Marcos Alonso was delighted with their derby win at Newcastle United.
Sunderland completed the double over their local rivals for the first time since 1967 and the left-back cut an animated figure after the final whistle.
"I'm very happy with the result," the 23 year-old told safc.com.
"My first taste of the north east derby couldn't be any better, it was a great game. I felt I did well and the whole team really performed."
