Sunderland defender Scott Harrison is extending his loan with Hartlepool United a further two months.
Harrison - who was also on loan at Pools at the end of last season - will remain with Cooper's squad until after the game with York City on Saturday, November 22.
Cooper told the club's website: "We're pleased to get things done with Scott because he's a good defender who has done well since he came here.
"He was keen to stay with us after his first month expired because he's really enjoying his football so we're delighted we've been able to get the deal finalised."
