Sunderland defender Blair Adams hopes for Coventry stay

Sunderland defender Blair Adams would be happy to extend his stay with Coventry City.

Adams is delighted with his temporary move.

He told the Coventry Telegraph: "I'm loving my time here - it's been brilliant to be playing every week and this is a team on the up.

"I have only played six or seven games but some of them have been fantastic performances when we have produced some great football and created a lot of chances. We want that to continue and climb up the league.

"If the manager wants me to stay then we'll have a talk and see what happens.

"I'm really happy with the way things have gone and hopefully he's happy with how I have been playing. We will have to see how it goes come the New Year."
