Sunderland are chasing Ajax striker Luis Suarez.

The Sunday Mirror says manager Steve Bruce has already begun to compile a list of players he wants to bring to the Stadium of Light and scout Ricky Sbragia ran the rule over Ajax star Suarez in Uruguay's 3-1 win in Switzerland this month.

Suarez scored that night and Bruce knows the 23-year-old, a prolific scorer in the Dutch League, will cost big money as several of the top sides in Europe are tracking him.
