Sunderland are keen on Wolfsburg striker Bas Dost.
The Evening Chronicle says the Black Cats face competition from Aston Villa, Swansea City and West Ham for the Wolfsburg striker - and seem likely to be put off by his rumoured £7.5 million asking price.
Dost is ready to leave Wolfsburg after struggling for regular first team action last season.
