Sunderland boss David Moyes is keen to bring John Guidetti back to England.

The former Manchester City striker is now playing in Spain with Celta Vigo, where he has scored three goals in eight games this season.

The Sunderland Echo says Moyes is convinced of Guidetti's quality and believes he can make an instant impact in the Premier League this season.

Sunderland are ready to move for the Swede in January and Celta could be willing to sell.

Guidetti isn't a first choice this season, due to the emergence of new Spain international Iago Aspas.
