Sunderland are chasing Bordeaux midfielder Jaroslav Plasil.

The Black Cats will scout the Czech Republic star in action against Scotland on October 8.

Plasil, 28, is at Bordeaux and is more attack minded. He can also play left sided midfield. He has previously been at Monaco and Osasuna but is keen on a move to England.
