Liverpool defender Tiago Ilori is a wanted man.

The Portugal U21 international is impressing on-loan in France this season with Bordeaux.

Real Sociedad coach David Moyes made a personal check on Ilori a fortnight ago and is keen to take the youngster to San Sebastian this summer.

However, the Sunderland Echo says Premier League strugglers Sunderland are also keen.

Despite their managerial upheaval, Sunderland chief Lee Congerton is continuing their long-term summer market plans - which include scouting Ilori's development with Bordeaux.
