Sunderland chairman Quinn: Spurs fullback Hutton wants to stay

Sunderland chairman Niall Quinn has revealed talks with on-loan Tottenham fullback Alan Hutton about a future on Wearside.

The Black Cats are keen to sign the Scotland international permanently.

Quinn told safc.com: "We've been happy with Alan. I sat down with him this morning and was delighted to hear his desire to come permanently to SAFC. I now have to contact Daniel Levy to see if this is possible."
