Sunderland chairman Niall Quinn has dismissed doubts over manager Steve Bruce.

Some Sunderland fans called for Bruce to be axed following Sunday's 5-1 derby defeat at Newcastle.

But Quinn said: "There is no lack of confidence in the manager whatsoever."
