Sunderland captain John O'Shea says their thrashing at Arsenal was a wake-up call.
Sunderland were thumped 4-1 in London.
O'Shea told SAFSee: "It was very disappointing because of how we'd been performing away from home, going unbeaten for a few months.
"It's frustrating but also a good wake-up call to realise the standards we've set for ourselves."
