Sunderland boss Sbragia: I think players care

After defeat to Everton, Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia says he 'thinks' the players care about their predicament.

He said: "I think the players do care. I made some changes thinking we'd get a result today. We asked them to give their all. We didn't get it last week, we got some of it today, but we need 100 per cent. I felt a bit sorry for Kenwyne because not all of the balls up to him were great. We didn't knock it about enough, we looked a bit fearful. We deserve what we got.

"Everybody's reputation is on the line. We need to get back to being focussed, get back on it, get points and get back up the table. I'm not happy losing. I don't enjoy it. I told them some truths. The key players on the day didn't produce enough. What I said is between me and the players. We know we can't rely on the teams below us not winning games."
