Sunderland boss Sbragia in contact with Man Utd's Fletcher about Hull attitude

Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia has sounded out Darren Fletcher about Manchester United's attitude towards their game against Hull City this Sunday.

Sbragia coached Fletcher during his time at Old Trafford and said he was confident the United side selected by his former boss Sir Alex Ferguson will still be good enough to overcome a Hull side who need a win to leap over Sunderland, and to equal or better Newcastle's result at Aston Villa.

"I think Sir Alex will play a team to win it," said Sbragia. "It may be Fletch and Gary Neville will play - and they are not reserves. I spoke to Fletch the other day to see how he was, because obviously he was down in the dumps about missing the final. You never come up against an easy United team. Sir Alex will do what is right for them and he is entitled to do that."
