Sunderland boss Gus Poyet will seek to buy a striker in January.

The Evening Chronicle says aside from four-goal leading scorer Steven Fletcher, Connor Wickham is the only other striker to have found the net in the league so far.

And Sunderland may well try to unload Jozy Altidore and Danny Graham to reduce the wage bill and generate cash to spend on another striker.
