Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is yet to decide who will be new club captain.

After Dean Whitehead's departure for Stoke City, Bruce now must find a new skipper for the coming season.

"Obviously with Dean leaving and his wishes to do that, we're looking for a new captain," he said.

"I'll take my time over it and make sure whoever I appoint is the right man for the job."
