Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is ready to hand teenage striker Ryan Noble a Premiership debut.

Bruce has fast-tracked Noble, 18, into his squad to host Portsmouth due to an injury crisis at the club.

Bruce said: "It's a certainty he'll be on the bench. It's an exceptional record he's got. It's in just 23 games too.

"I've seen him score two hat-tricks. He has exceptional pace and a fantastic finish."
