Sunderland have reportedly made an enquiry regarding Barcelona's Alen Halilovic.
The Daily Mail suggests that the Black Cats are keen on the 18-year old Croatian attacking midfielder and would like to take him on loan in January.
Barcelona are looking to send Halilovic away in the winter in order to fast-track his first team experience and it has been reported that Celta Vigo have joined Sunderland in their interest.
The six-time Croatia international Halilovic joined Barca from Dinamo Zagreb in the summer but has been restricted to playing for the Barcelona B team because of the Catalan clubs transfer ban.
