Teenage French striker Magaye Gueye is a target for Sunderland.

The News of the World says Everton, Birmingham and Bolton are also interested in the 19-year-old frontman who could be available for as little as £2m after current club Strasbourg were relegated to France's third tier.

But lightning-quick Gueye, who first caught the eye of English clubs when he scored for France against England in last summer's European Under-19 Championship semi-final, scored nine goals in just 17 league starts.
