Stuttgart want to bring Arsenal defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos back to Germany.
The Independent says the Bundesliga could be willing to offer the 32-year-old a route back to Germany.
Sokratis has one year left on his current deal at the Emirates.
The Greece international joined Arsenal two years ago from Borussia Dortmund.
The stopper is one of the most senior players inside the Gunners dressing room.
