Stuttgart chief Schneider reveals new contract talks for Man Utd, Chelsea target Rudiger

VfB Stuttgart sports director Jochen Schneider is confident they won't lose young defender Antonio Rudiger.

The German defender is being tracked by West Ham United, Chelsea and Manchester United this season.

But Schneider revealed: "Our intention is to extend with Antonio Rüdiger. Already Fredi Bobic has talked with him and last week I had a specific conversation with (agent) Uli Ferber.

"Since May, Toni has sparked certain interest, but currently he is not thinking of a change.

"He is united with us at VfB and so we'll see which way things go."
