Danny Sturridge loves working with Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.

Sturridge, who has admitted to trying too hard to impress when he was at Chelsea and was used mainly as substitute, also praised Gerrard for helping him believe in his own ability.

"Steve has helped a lot in terms of mindset. He's all about self belief; don't go out there with the mentality of trying to do something. Just let it happen."
