Nicolas Pepe turned down an offer from Manchester United to sign for Arsenal last week, it has been revealed.
The Ivory Coast star joined Arsenal for a record €80m from Lille.
However, Le 10 Sport says offers from Manchester United and Atletico Madrid were also accepted by Lille.
Atletico matched Arsenal's proposal, while United actually bid €90m for Pepe.
But the attacker chose Arsenal after talks with Gunners manager Unai Emery.
