STUNNER! Mourinho hints Man Utd approach for Alexis Sanchez

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has hinted they've made an approach for Arsenal's unsettled star Alexis Sanchez.

The Manchester Evening News says Mourinho was asked about Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata again following the 5-2 win over the Galaxy.

When Mourinho was asked by a Spanish journalist if United were attempting to sign Morata, he replied in Spanish: "It is a question for Florentino [Perez, the Real president]. I don't know the first thing about Sanchez.

"What I said today is what I say today. Clubs put price tags on players, not the one who wants to buy. He belongs to Madrid. Madrid has decided and we have not come to an agreement. It is simple. It is a shame.

"He is a player who made it to the first-team with me. We have a special liking for him, he is someone special. I enjoyed watching his evolution in Juventus and Madrid. It is like that. I don't think he can end with us."

The Spanish journalist did not mention Sanchez, who has entered the last year of his Arsenal contract, in his question.
