PSG chief Leonardo failed in a shock attempt last week for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, it has been revealed.

Le 10 Sport says PSG are scouring the market looking for a potential replacement for Thomas Tuchel at the end of this season.

Leonardo made a move for Liverpool boss Klopp just before Christmas.

They report that Leonardo made a phone call to Klopp during which he tried to sell the French champions to him.

The call is claimed to have lasted for an hour, with the Brazilian outlining what the club's Qatari owners wanted them to achieve over the next few years.

But Klopp is also said to have made it totally clear to Leonardo that he is more than happy with life at Anfield right now.
