STUNNER! Kane ready to skip Spurs rebuild for mega Man Utd switch

Harry Kane would prefer joining Manchester United instead of seeing through a rebuild at Tottenham Hotspur, reports have claimed.

The England captain has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since New Year's Day, but expects to return before Euro2020.

Spurs missing out on qualification for the Champions League would only further Kane's desire to leave the North London club.

Goal claim sources close to Kane have made it known that the 26-year-old would be keen on a potential move to Old Trafford.

Kane is under contract until 2024 and United would have to fork out an enormous transfer fee.

Jose Mourinho claimed this week that his squad didn't need a major overhaul this summer, despite their struggling league campaign.

But the feeling around Hotspur Way is that Mourinho must sign a number of players to reinvigorate his squad, especially his ageing backline.

And they could have to re-build without their star striker if United are prepared to meet Daniel Levy's demands.
