Getafe are losing their coach Cosmin Contra to Chinese football.

AS says Contra will leave Getafe after the Christmas break. Chinese Super League side, Guangzhouu R&F have completed the signing of the coach for a fee of €1.5 million.

Angel Torres, Getafe's president along with his assistant Toni Muñoz, now face the task to find a replacement for the Romanian coach.

Contra was tempted by the move to the Chinese Super League with the incentive of a two million euro per year net salary along with a potential bonus of one million additional euro if Contra meets the Chinese club's objectives.
