Borussia Dortmund are making a stunning move to thwart Manchester United's attempts to prise Jadon Sancho away this summer.
While United have struck personal terms with the England international, talks over a fee with BVB have ground to a halt.
The Germans are refusing to budge from their €120m valuation - which United have deemed far too steep.
And with the stand-off, BVB have made a fresh move to convince Sancho to stay.
BILD's head of sport, Christian Falk, revealed on social media: "Next poker round between BVB and Man Utd: Borussia Dortmund offer Sancho more salary if he stays and United don't pay €120m."
