The ref for England's defeat in Ukraine on Saturday BLANKED Fabio Capello's offer to shake hands at the end of the game, it has been revealed.

The Sun says Capello was dramatically snubbed by referee Damir Skomina after subjecting the official to a tunnel rant.

Furious England boss Capello confronted Slovenian Skomina after the final whistle and then followed him angrily towards the dressing rooms.

The Three Lions chief then let fly at the official with a FOUR-MINUTE rant, before finally calming down and offering a parting handshake - which the outraged FIFA official refused to accept.

Capello swore in Italian before turning on his heels and marching to the England dressing room.
