Everton management is pleased with the development of Luke Garbutt.
Garbutt was on loan at Colchester United earlier this season.
Everton U21 coach Alan Stubbs told evertonfc.com: "I've spoken to Luke and told him that he is showing good signs since he has come back from his loan. I see a matureness and he is showing a good attitude towards the defending part of his game, which was the area we thought he needed to work on.
"It looks like he is starting to enjoy that side of the game now and that is positive from his point of view."
