Stuart McKinstry set to leave Leeds

Stuart McKinstry is set to leave Leeds United.

The Daily Record says Leeds look set to release McKinstry when his loan spell expires with Motherwell at the end of the season.

Several Scottish Premiership clubs are believed to be showing an interest, while there has also been attention from a number of English Championship teams.

McKinstry has been a shining light this season for a Motherwell side which are only separated by the foot of the Scottish Premiership table on goal difference.

The 20-year-old has amassed 22 appearances for his hometown club - scoring four goals and providing two assists. The winger started his youth career at Motherwell before being plucked from their ranks by Leeds in July 2019.
