Stromsgodset coach Bjorn Petter "BP" Ingebretsen doesn't expect Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be in charge of Manchester United long-term.

Molde have allowed Solskjaer to join United as caretaker manager - something BP did when loaned by Stromsgodset as an assistant this year with Fredrikstad FK.

"You are employed elsewhere, but I felt it went well," BP told VG. "I knew there were good people left at FFK, and it is also in Molde. Ole Gunnar is sure to keep up with Molde, but everything in everyday life is going to be in Manchester.

"I do not think there will be a problem at all.

"I think Ole Gunnar can turn it around just by being himself. I will follow him."

On Solskjaer earning the job long-term, BP added: "You never know, but I do not think it's the idea of Manchester United. I think they have another in the binoculars in the long run."
