Middlesbrough boss Gordon Strachan has targeted the Championship title next season. The former Coventry and Celtic boss is preparing for his first full season in charge at The Riverside after being installed as Gareth Southgate's permanent successor in October last year.
Strachan told the club's official website: "Promotion is the main target. That's the mentality we have to have. We want to try to win the league. That's the sort of pressure we'll put on the players.
"I know the determination and hunger that's required."
