John Stones has reportedly informed Everton that he wants a transfer to Manchester City.
According to the Daily Mail, Stones told new Toffees boss Ronald Koeman earlier this month that he wanted a move to City and has now again piped up by saying he would like the deal to go through next week.
The 22-year-old centre-back is keen to work under Pep Guardiola in Manchester and the Spaniard is a known admirer of the former Barnsley man but there has to be an agreement on a fee before Stones gets his wish.
However, City are not too keen on paying Everton's £50million asking price which could act as a hindrance in any summer deal as the Goodison Park outfit are not ready to lose him for less than they feel he is worth.
