John Stones has been left out of Manchester City's squad to face Club Brugge in the Champions League.

The England international has not joined his teammates due to personal reasons, according to Manchester Evening News.

Pep Guardiola will have 18 players available in Belgium, including Brazilian duo Ederson and Gabriel Jesus.

City starlet Cole Palmer is also in the squad, having scored for the first-team against Burnley and a hat-trick for the U23s on Saturday.
