Manchester City defender John Stones hailed manager Pep Guardiola after victory at Swansea City.

Swans made City have to work hard for the win, with a controversial penalty changing the course of the game.

“He's very demanding" explained Stones to City's website.

“It's good - it's what we want - it rubs off in games. We're demanding of each other and that shows on the pitch. We've just got to keep working hard and keep winning games.

“I thought the character of the boys was brilliant - the way we dug in and got the three goals."
