Stoke City winger Matt Etherington fears he's missed the boat as far as England is concerned.
Etherington fears he is too old at 29 to gatecrash Fabio Capello's England plans.
The Stoke winger, who faces Shrewsbury in the Carling Cup tonight, said: "It may have passed me by.
"Time's not on my side but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it."
