Stoke City are willing to release Robert Huth for loan.

The Sentinel says the popular German has been given the green light to go out on loan.

The news comes as no surprise after he failed to even make the bench at Arsenal on Sunday following newcomer Philipp Wollscheid's fast-tracking to the starting 11 at centre half.

Huth has sampled barely five minutes of Premier League action in the past 14 months after falling victim to a long-term knee injury in November 2013.
