Stoke City boss Mark Hughes is eyeing Panathinaikos striker Markus Berg.

The Sweden international has enjoyed a prolific season in Greece and his form has attracted the interest of the Potters and Werder Bremen.

Hughes is turning to Berg after seeing Ivica Olic commit to a new deal with VfL Wolfsburg.

"It is normal to experience rumors about other clubs. There will be times when an attacker succeeds with his scoring and the rumours are only a positive sign, but right now it's not something I care about," reflected Berg.
