Stoke City are unlikely to return to Birmingham City with a new offer for Scott Dann and Cameron Jerome.
The Sun says Brum are refusing to sell the £12m-rated Dann on the cheap - and want around £7m for Jerome.
But Stoke believe their offer was good and are now likely to switch their attention to other targets.
Bolton have had a £5m bid for Jerome turned down but could now move again.
But Birmingham must sell their prize assets as they have cash problems following their relegation to the Championship.
