Stoke City striker Joselu has hit out at former Deportivo La Coruna coach Gaizka Garitano.

Joselu is on-loan at Depor and felt misled by Garitano before his sacking.

"You can say that Garitano deceived me," he declared. "When I arrived the coach sells you things in a way and as you see the games you see I did not have a friendly conversation with him, I trained well and I did not have the prize to consolidate myself at the Depor, and when I was injured, Garitano was coming to talk to me about things that were not reflected afterwards.

"At the Bernabeu, I thought it was going to be different but it did not change anything. I can not be happy about the Garitano stage, I did not share many things with him."

Depor and Joselu's fortune has since improved under new coach Pepe Mel.
